In this non curricular course, students have an open studio to work on various independent projects varying from bargue and cast drawing, to color study and still life painting. Working with complete beginners to seasoned practitioners, the instructor works one-on-one with students to tackle new concepts and techniques aimed at expanding their visual vocabulary and helping them grow as an artist.

This course is offered under continual enrollment - feel free to call and inquire if there are any spots available and we can pro-rate you for the remaining semester (please note that minimal enrollment must be met to offer pro rates) Materials will differ from student to student based on the assignment. Please see the material list page on this website to find which supplies will apply to you (painting or drawing are both listed.)

In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, or if the instructor needs to cancel, a make up class will be scheduled at the end of the semester
