Private lessons help you to hone the skills you want to develop under the guidance of an experienced professional.

Many of my private students are former art school graduates, or find themselves returning to art after raising a family or developing a career. They may have spent a few years taking classes and workshops, but they’re eager to get serious about their craft, but aren’t necessarily looking to make art a career or willing to enter a 4 year program. With private lessons, I’m able to tailor a unique curriculum to you and your goals, while providing the focused environment that you wont find at a community art center or in group classes.

If you’re out of state or the country and looking to study with me, I also provide critiques and mentorship to students online. Ive worked with many students in art school or in atelier programs who are looking for support and clarity as they navigate their classes or find themselves stuck understanding certain concepts or techniques. Whether you’re looking for exercises, a simple critique, or want to talk through your challenges, I’m able to offer support and help. Online rates are listed above.

Class Policies and Liability Agreement:

Payment for private lessons is due at the time of scheduling via zelle, venmo, or personal check. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. I am not responsible for student absence or tardiness - students can not pay per hour present. If in the event the instructor is sick, or inclement weather necessitates cancelation, a make-up date will be scheduled for the end of the month, or students will be refunded for the value of that class.
